I remember my first time in a theater - 1997 - watching an awful kid's flick, unable to peel my eyes away for even a second.
The terrible effects, the horrible script, the cheesy acting. That was the first movie to ever make me cry and I loved being wrapped up in that emotion.
It was all pretty got'dang impressive for five-year-old me...
